At some point in the first grade I realized that taking the time to match and fold all my socks was a dreadfully boring task and I began throwing them all into a drawer without their partner. This led to a new, much more fun, daily routine of picking out the two socks that matched the very-least, thus inspiring a rather questionable fashion trend at Pine Ridge Elementary. I don’t think I owned one pair of white socks until the sixth grade.
